Surface protection technology of iron door and gate

1. Metal protective layer: coat the surface of iron products with a layer of metal or alloy that is not easy to rust. The common methods include electroplating, spray plating, hot-dip plating, etc., but the metal protective layer used on iron products should generally be hot-dip galvanized. Due to the professional degreasing and derusting of the plated workpiece before plating and high-temperature dipping in the zinc melt at 440 degree , the coating can cover many defects and gaps, avoid future rust, and has excellent adhesion function.

2. Non metallic protective layer: apply one or more layers of organic and inorganic compounds on the surface of iron products, such as paint, plastic, rubber, enamel, acid resistant materials, antirust oil, etc.

3. Chemical protective layer: a protective layer that forms a non-metallic film on the surface of iron products by chemical and electrochemical methods, such as surface blackening, bluing, phosphate treatment, etc.

4. Eradication of welding slag: there are many welding parts of the gate. Carefully eradicate the welding slag of each welding part. Firstly, use a board file or flat iron to knock out the slag, and then polish the weld with a grinder and abrasive cloth to make it smooth. The welding slag splashed to other parts shall also be eradicated and cleaned.

5. Polishing atomic ash: after it is completely dry, polish all components of the gate with a grinder and abrasive cloth, especially the parts coated with atomic ash.

6. Painting: before painting, wipe all parts of the door with a wet cloth without leaving dust. One coat of antirust paint, one coat of black paint and one coat of varnish after the paint film is completely dry. Be careful not to have missed spraying parts, nor to produce sagging and other defects. The touch up paint can be applied with a brush at some minor points
